[RENEE//Young]: I see you're busy preparing for your match tonight, huh?

[VELVET//Sky]: Preparing? I'm pampering myself, hun. Because I deserve to. I don't need to waste any of my time getting ready for someone like Sasha Banks.

Velvet's face contorted as she spoke her name out loud.

[VELVET//Sky]: I'll teach Sasha Banks a lesson just like I did to her little friend Eva Marie a couple of weeks ago. Listen, Renee, I've been here for many, many years. I've seen many women come and go, then come back, and then disappear into oblivion again. Girls like Sasha Banks, Eva Marie, and Summer Rae... they have to band together because their nothing on their own. None of those girls could stand on their own two feet without someone else to support them. I've done the tag team schtick and honestly... good riddance. I've stood the test of time, and I've done a hell of a lot since I first debuted in this company. You know how long it took me to get my first title shot in this company?

[RENEE//Young]: No sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I wasn't working here back then.

[VELVET//Sky]: I wasn't really looking for you to answer. It was more of a rhetorical question. It took me almost a full year after debuting. I put in countless hours of work to improve myself so I could get to where I needed to be. I was subjected to my gear bag being vandalized my first match here, I was attacked with multiple chair shots thanks to Daffney. I've been kicked out of the dressing room, and ran all over like a doormat. Until I finally learned to stand my ground around here. Then I proved them all wrong. Back then they all said I would never amount to anything. Yet here I am, multiple time Women's champion, and Women's Tag Team Champion. I earned respect around here, it was never given to me. The girls in the back when I got here definitely didn't play nice. It's a totally different story currently. Half these girls have no clue what it was like years ago compared to now. It's a cake walk now compared to the days of John Laurinaitis and our 2 minute Diva matches. That is, if the match wasn't scrapped at the last minute. Girls like Trish Stratus, Angelina Love, Torrie Wilson, Daffney, Natalya, hell even Jamilla Craft, we sacrificed so much to get somewhere in this company. We fought so hard to get televised matches again. The girls in the back today, they have no clue what going through some of that was really like. But now...

Velvet shook her head and half laughed. This motioned caused some of her dark colored hair to swing down from behind her shoulder and framed her face perfectly.

[VELVET//Sky]: Now all we get is an influx of girls with hoodrat mentalities, thinking they just deserve title shot after title shot. They don't even appreciate the back breaking work that went into paving the way for them. They get televised matches week in and week out and think nothing of it. Yet when they don't get their way, they all throw some pathetic tantrum or whine about it for the next six months. News flash ladies, you don't deserve anything. Nothing is owed to you, and nothing is owed to me either. You all better learn real fast that the real key to success is paying your dues and putting in hard work. Not disappearing for the entire past year after things didn't go your way. Since Sasha embarrassingly lost the title to Natalya, she's been off either hiding or on vacation. Who even knows or cares, frankly it doesn't even matter. What matters is that I'm feeling like another title run in my near future. It's been a little longer than I'd like to admit with my last run, but that's all in the past. The Queen of the Ring is calling my name, and you know, I think I'd look damn good in a crown. So Sasha, go ahead and slap your nappy fuchsia weave on girl, I'll really enjoy mopping the ring with it tonight. Oh, and be sure to bring those gaudy rings you flash around to remind everyone you think you're some kind of BOSS. I'll be sure to wear it after I win so I can punch that billboard size forehead of yours, and you'll be branded forever. No need to wear those tacky rings you clearly got out of a toy capsule vending machine at the local grocery store.

Velvet sat back and adjusted herself in the chair. The woman doing her nails dipped the nail polish brush into the container before continuing on with Velvet's nails.

[RENEE//Young]: Those are certainly some choice words for your opponent Sasha Banks. You're not at all concerned what she may bring to the ring tonight in her official return match?

Velvet simply shrugged her shoulders, appearing more interested in how her nails turned out.

[VELVET//Sky]: Listen Renee, no amount to comeback training is going to prepare her for my wrath tonight. I got gold fever now, and I'm not planning on letting Sasha get in my way. Besides, I think we all know she'll have plenty of ring rust to shake off before she has a chance in hell to beat me. Now Renee?

[RENEE//Young]: Yes?

[VELVET//Sky]: Go away.

Renee looked shocked for a moment but nodded slowly. Velvet waved her right hand in a dismissal manner, shooing the young interviewer away. The scene faded out on Velvet smiling down at her manicure.
