|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [nods] Yeah I've been in here a time or two. I'm new to the town... Your Autumn, right?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| That'd be me. I'm sorry but I don't know your name.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| I'm Jesse Roberts... say, is Veronica working yet?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Not right now. She'll be in later. How do you know Veronica?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| I ran into her the other day as she was leaving here, knocked her down and I felt bad. I'm suppose to buy her a drink sometime.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Oh well she should be in tonight. She's home right now. So...where you from?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| I see. Oh I come from a small town called Perth... it's in Austrailia.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Austrailia...that's hot. What brings you to Los Angeles?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [laughs] I was actually found by a model agent back there in Austrailia when he was looking for a 'fresh face'. I was on my family's farm at the time. I was never into the model thing... not my style. But I landed a tv series a while back but it got cancelled and now I'm in my friends band for the time being.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| A farm huh? Ever go cow tipping? [he looks at her weird.] nevermind... A band...cool. what kind of music?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Mostly metal. Um, ever hear of the band HIM?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| [shakes her head no.] Sorry no... are they new or something?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Nah they've been around a few years. They broke up and the ex lead singer, Mykl, well.. it's his new band I'm in. We've known each other along time...yeah. But what about yourself? What do you do besides work here? [takes a drink]
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| I just landed a part on the tv show The OC. I'm going to be playing Summer. I'm working here and doing some acting... I also write songs. That's pretty much it. So Veronica huh?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Nice, well good luck with your t.v series. [takes another drink] What about her?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Well do you know anything about her?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Nah. She seems nice and I'd like to get to know her a bit more. But I only got to talk to her for a few quick minutes. She needed to go somewhere but she told me she works here, so thats about all I know of her.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Wow... she just moved here. She's pretty nice. [debating on if she should spill the beans about her and the baby.] She's well nice...
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [Raises and eyebrow at her] She seemed it... I'm taking that as you don't really like her, your just saying that... right?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| No I like her. It's just that I don't know a lot about her. But Kemp does.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Are they together?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| No...they were...I mean used to be. I mean No... they're not. They dated when they lived in NY. But Kemp's with Alicia now so..
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Oh. How long ago did all this happen?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| [thinks] Over a year ago.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Wow. Yeah she seemed troubled when I ran into her the other day. But I figure it was probably just a bad day... we all have them.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Bad days happen alot around here. But hey things will get better for her. I mean it's hard when you just move here and you dont know anyone.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [nods] Yeah most definitely. I know that feeling.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| That's what happend when I moved here. Then I met Kemp and he helped me and my sister.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Yeah luckily I had two friends already here. So that helps. Kemp seems like a nice guy to do that.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| He's great. He's like the brother I never had
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Thats awesome. [Jenna Brink walks in, heading towards them and sitting on the bar stool next to Jesse] ...Jenna this is Autumn, Autumn...Jenna.
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Hi. Nice to meet you [smiles] I've been looking for you Jess.
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| nice to meet you too.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Oh yeah, sorry I stopped to get a drink. Practice kind of slipped my mind. [turns to Autumn] How much do I owe you for the drink...?
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| Its on me.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [Smiles] Thanks. Well it was nice to meet you but I have to run. I'll come by and hopefully we can talk again some other time.
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Yeah sorry to be in a rush to leave after we just met. Nice meeting you too
|'The Gorgeous Barmaid' Autumn Reeves| It was nice meeting both of you.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| About time you get here man.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Sorry dude, I decided to stop and get a drink at the Nutty Irishman and yeah this girl and I ended up talking awhile and it dropped my mind.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Ah well, shit happens I guess.
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Be glad I saved your ass Jesse. [smiles] Mykl would have kicked your ass if you didn't show up.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Hell yeah, this isnt free.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| I know. So what are we playing today Mykl?
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| We're gonna try something a bit different. Alright, well all our past records I'm always vocals, well the producer's want to try one song atleast where it's a little crazy... you know, different. So I'll be guitar for this one song and your going to sing that song you wrote two weeks ago, the 'Out of my Way' song. The producers like it. Wanna give it a shot? Throw something a little different in for the fans?
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [Smiles] Hell yeah.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Ok, sound ruggid, they want something different for this..
[Jesse nods and jumps up on the stage, clearing his throat and tucking some hair behind his ears. Mykl stands up and grabs the guitar, putting the shoulder strap over his head. The two of them look up at the recording box and they nod. Mykl and the bassist begin the song. Jesse yells into the mircophone as they band all kicks in.]
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [Sings] I can’t pass up this opportunity to make myself absurd, I can’t pass up this opportunity to let myself be heard. Would you, like to, be the one who sees me lose this all. Would you, like to, be the one who sees me fall? Nobodies gonna stand in my way, give it up son, I'm doin' this my way. [They continue with the song, having to re-do a few takes here and there. They finish up the recording part, leaving the studio to finish touch-up's later. Jesse and Mykl switch places, Jesse puts his guitar strap over his shoulder and plays a few veruses and getting it to sound like he wants it to.. Mykl fixes the microphone back to his height as the producers give the band instructions, and they prepare to record their next song. Mykl pulls some papers from his back pocket and opens it up, clearing his throat. They begin recording their new song and after awhile they end it. Mykl orders for a break and motions for Jesse to follow him. Jesse nods and puts his guitar down on the stand and follows Mykl into the private resting area room they were given and shuts the door.]
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Dont take this wrong, your doing great on the guitar. But we're looking for slightly heavier than what HIM was. Listen...
[Mykl turns and puts a cd into the cd player, turning it to one of his old bands song, turning up the volume some. Jesse listens to "Wicked Game" by HIM. After the song ends Jesse stands up. Mykl grabs a spare guitar on the stand and sits on the desk.]
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Here I'll play you an example.. [He plays a few veruses of some harder melodies]
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Alright, I think I defintitly have it now.
[They go back to recording for a few more hours. After they wrap it up and their packing their equipment into Greg; the bassists, van, their manager comes on the speaker. Mykl looks up as does Jesse and Jenna.]
|'The Greatest Manager' Paul| Hey goodjob guys. We got alot done today, we're nearing the end of the CD. But now we're interested in possible shooting a video promo to advertise on television the release of your album. How about it?
[They all look at one another for a second then nod in agreement]
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Let's get this bitch done [smiles]
|'The Greatest Manager' Paul| Awesome! Alright, meet us in the make-up room in five.
[The guys all go into the make-up room getting touch-up's as the set is being put together for their promo shoot. Jenna comes up and hugs both Mykl and Jesse and smiling]
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Ah I'm so excited for you two! Your getting so close to releasing your new album. I bet you can't hardly wait.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Well I gotta admit that I'm excited as hell.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Can't deny that. I'll just be glad when we're done with this and we can start on some new stuff again.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Oh definitely.
|'The Greatest Manager' Paul| Oh guys, I'm really glad you decided to do this today. I know it was unexpected, but it'll get it out of the way, besides... it'll help boost sales when it hits stores. Also, you need to go to this shoot next Thursday. Your suppose to be on the next cover of Rolling Stones to help promote your new album. All helps, right?
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Awesome. Got a point there Paul, it sure does.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Hey you know we'll be there.
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Wow, Rolling Stones... that's amazing guys.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Well not to Mykl, he's been in the fame [grins]
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Doesnt mean I dont appreciate it. So anyways, Whats our hit release going to be?
|'The Greatest Manager' Paul| Razorblade kiss. That's what the promo will be on. Part of the video scene.

[They follow Paul out to the set room where everyone is doing something in the room. Mykl has put a eyeliner designes around his eyes and looks abck at Jesse and Jenna when he looks upon the set; which is a hospital theme. His eyes are pretty wide with a slight look of amusement on his face.]
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| This is so f**king awesome!
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| [Jumps] Jesus! I didn't expect your make-up yet. It's kind of...creepy.
|'Razorblade Kisses' Mykl Nevel| Really? Good, because thats what I aimed for. [grins]
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| [Nods, still shocked] Well you definitely succeeded.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| [laughs] Softcore.
|'Stunning Brunette' Jenna Brink| Pshht yeah think what you want.
|'The Aussie Sensation' Jesse Roberts| Might have to.

[They both wave back to her as Jenna and Jesse walk out and around the corner. Jenna and Jesse get inside her car and they leave her parking spot. After twenty minutes of driving or so, they get out and head into their studio. Mykl and the rest of the guys are there, warming up. Mykl is seated on the edge of a small stage, in front of the drums, playing a guitar. He's looking up at the guys in the recording box, listening to what they have to say to him. Jenna and Jesse head towards him as he nods his head and looks at them, still playing different tunes here and there on the guitar.]
