Jamie slid her key card into her hotel room door and waited for the green lights on the door to light up. They blinked red. Jamie tried again, and nothing. She sighed out loud in frustration and swiped the card through the reader on the door and it quickly flashed green. Jamie pushed the door open and stepped into her room. It was decently sized, she had made sure to book a room on the 12th floor of the Marriott hotel in New Orleans. It was within walking distance of the French Quarter, and across the way from Harrah's Casino which she would undoubtedly be hitting up later in the evening.
Jamie wheeled in her suitcase and set it by the wall. She tossed her purse down on the bed and strolled over to the window of her hotel room that overlooked the Mississippi river. It proved to be a gorgeous view, Jamie smiled in content. She turned around when she heard a muffled noise from her purse. Jamie strolled over and dug into her purse before she fished out her purple Sprint Evo and slid her finger across the screen before she placed the phone to her ear.

Jamie sat down on the edge of her bed and crossed one of her legs over the other. Jamie's finger tips mindlessly played with the fabric of her jeans that rested right above her knee as she listened to Layla talk.

Layla chuckled over the phone which caused Jamie to smile once more.

Jamie clicked the end call button on her phone before she set it down on the bed. Jamie knew she had a lot to do before her big match tonight against her best friend Layla. She yawned, a bit jet lagged after a long plane trip. Jamie laid on the bed and decided to take a quick nap before she headed off to the arena for the evening.
Sometimes later, Jamie had woken up and grabbed her gear bag and purse. She stepped out of the elevator in her hotel and walked outside into the muggy hair of New Orleans. It was a really hot and humid day, luckily her cab was already waiting for her so she wouldn't have to stand outside long. Jamie rushed over and opened the door before she tossed in her belongings and slid onto the seat of the cab. She told him the directions to where she was headed. Once the cab arrived to a studio on Howard Avenue, Jamie paid the fair and grabbed her items. She shut the door behind her and walked into the building. After she asked for directions a few times, she managed to find her way into the radio station she was doing a small interview for. Jamie opened the door to the studio, bright yellow letters painted on the door to spell out WYLD, with a purple background. Jamie stepped in as a lady smiled and signaled for her to follow her. Jamie did as instructed as she was lead into another room, a radio DJ sat in a chair with a set of headphones on, talking into a microphone as he was on air before he played a quick PSA announcement. Jamie was directed to a seat and offered a pair of headphones as well. Jamie smiled and put them on as the DJ looked over and smiled in acknowledgment to her.

Glady, you see, Divas belong to WWE and Knockouts were a part of TNA. Now, it may appear they represent the same thing, but I am here to clarify that they don't! You see, Diva's are nothing but glorified models, their whiny, they want everything handed to them on a silver platter. I just don't sit well with that. Now, a TNA Knockout, we were all different in our own way. TNA never made any of us look like clones, they never tried to shove us into a pre-fabricated box and be something we're not. A Knockout beats up Divas for a living. I have said it many times, and I will say it again... and although my appearance may be a bit deceitful, I'm not a model, Nichols, I beat them up. And I get paid for it, which is like the icing on the cake for me.

Oh, I definitely am. Not by choice, it was just how the cookie crumbled I suppose. I accept it the best I can but I'm still not very happy about it. I was content being in TNA and probably would have never left, however, Shawn Michaels drops you a good number and a contract, you take it and run. So that is what I did.

Ha, well yes it is a bit crazy. In some crazy sense, we're all family. Not that we all get along, so I guess that makes us more of a dysfunctional family. It can be hectic in the back, some girls are nice and welcoming, others hate you for no apparent reason and you get mean mugged every time you step foot in the locker room. You just learn to get over it, haters are gonna be haters, just ignore them, atleast that is what I do.

I don't know if you, Nichols, watched the Night of Champions PPV, but those two matches stole the night in my opinion. Jamie slid off the headphones and shook a few peoples hands before she took her leave from the studio, the radio station cut to a commercial break block. Jamie headed back out of the studio and wasted no time as she flagged down a cab and headed off for the New Orleans Arena for Smackdown.
