Jamie pulled into the parking lot of the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida for Smackdown. It was still hours before the event was scheduled to kicked off, so she had plenty of time to finish getting ready for her big match this evening against Age of the Fall members, Amber Dobson and Nicoli Hunt. Jamie rested her head back against the head rest of her blue Nissan 350z, as it sat idly in the parking space. She sighed out to herself as her mind wandered over the events of the past few nights. In the beginning, Jamie thought she was going into this match as friends with both of her opponents. She knew that no matter the outcome, it would be a great match in the end for everyone. Jamie had hung out with Age of the Fall members when she was about to debut, and everybody had seemed to have a good time around one another. Jamie had been really thankful that she had found some down to earth people to welcome her into the NWA. She wasn't used to many women getting along with her, but both Amber and Nicoli had surprised her with their kindness. It was refreshing to meet down to earth girls, everyone else in the locker rooms seemed so catty these days. It wasn't until a few nights ago, she had been told that Amber suspected Jamie of being jealous of Amber and Colby's relationship. Jamie shook her head in disbelief as she sat up and shut off the engine to her car. She had wanted to talk with Amber about the whole situation and how ridiculous everything had gotten over something so small. Sure, Jamie would be lying if she didn't acknowledge that Colby was a rather attractive guy, but she respected Amber, and her relationship with Colby. Jamie would never try and come between that, nor was it ever her intention.
Jamie slowly climbed out of her car and grabbed her gear bag out that sat on her passenger seat. She ran a few fingers through her hair as she shut the car door behind her. Jamie just couldn't comprehend why everyone thought she was only looking for some guy to be with. Jamie had been so concentrated on her debut match, that she hardly had time to contemplate anything else. Now, she was thrown into a tag team match with her former partner from the Beautiful People, Lacey Adkisson, better known as Lacey Von Erich. She was really excited to team up with her once more on Smackdown, it would be like a trip down memory lane for the two of them. Not to mention they had worthy opponents, who were also used to being a tag team together.
Jamie pulled open the door to the arena and stepped inside. She headed down the corridors of the arena until she stumbled upon the location of the Smackdown Women's locker room. Jamie shoved open the door and stepped inside. She could feel the eyes of the other divas in the locker room stare up at her coldly. She sighed and walked over to an empty locker and sat down on the bench as she placed her gear bag in front of her. Jamie went through her gear bag and pulled out her work out gear, also setting down a towel and bottle of water on the bench next to her. She had decided to get a training session in before her big match. She had managed to be successful in her big debut, she wanted to try and keep the ball rolling for herself if she could do anything about it.
Jamie quickly changed into a tank top and pair or shorts to work out in. She tosses her gear bag into her locker and shut it before she stood up and grabbed the towel and water bottle off the bench. Jamie pulled open the door to the Women's locker room and stepped back out into the hallway, as she headed in the direction of the gym. Once she arrived, Jamie walked off the the left side of the gym and set down the items in her hand. She took a seat on the floor and extended out on of her legs while folding the other inwards. Jamie leaned over and reached for her toes as she stretched out her muscles. She held the stretch for a few moments before switching it around and holding it once more. Jamie lifted her gaze around the gym and spotted Amy and Jeff across the way from her. They were both talking amongst one another as Jamie continued to stretch. Amy saw her first yet pretended not to.

Jamie muttered this to herself as she straightened out both of her legs and stretched out to reach her toes once more, holding the stretch. Jamie let go and sat back up as Jeff turned his head and waved in her direction. Jamie smiled and waved back, nodding her head in acknowledgment. She could tell Amy didn't want to interact with her, nor did she want Jeff too. Jeff stood up as he placed the set of dumbbells back on the rack.

Amy drug her feet behind her as she followed Jeff over to Jamie. Jamie finished stretching and stood back up as she dusted herself off. She flashed them both a smile.

Amy stood behind Jeff, not saying a word. Amy had no problem showing that she had no interest in being there, as her eyes never met with Jamie's once, and she stood with her arms around Jeff's waist. Jeff brushed some loose strands of hair out of his face and shook his head.

Well, well, if it isn't Miss. Szantyr. Not much on our end, just getting in some gym time. I got a promo to bust out later tonight, I hope you'll be watching.
Amy nudges Jeff as he just blew it off with a smile.

Jamie was shocked and left speechless for a moment, she hadn't expected Amy to say anything.

Umm... yeah, I do know that. I'm actually glad they won't. I've worked so hard to get here to NWA and I want to make the most of it while I have the opportunities to do so. I'm pretty excited to see my old partner, Lacey. I actually haven't been able to team with her in some time now, so it will be so much fun. I absolutely adore Amber Dobson and Nicoli Hunt, both women have shown me nothing but kindness since I stepped foot in this business. Maybe some people could take some notes on that.
Jamie diverted her eyes over to Amy for a few seconds before she looked back over at Jeff.

Jeff patted Amy's forearm and kept her back behind him. Amy shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head. Jeff looked back at Jamie and smiled.

Amy tried to tug his hand but to no avail. Jamie rolled her eyes as she unraveled the wires of the headphones and stood on either side of the small conveyor belt of the tread mill.

Jamie waved her fingers at the both of them before she turned and got on the treadmill, starting off with a power walk to warm up with. Jamie slides her headphones into her ears as she continues into a jog as she allowed her mind to completely focus on her match against the ladies of Age of the Fall.
--Sometime later--
Jamie changed into her ring attire for the evening after she had finished her work out and showered. She currently sat on a chair in front of a mirror with her hair dryer running. Jamie ran a brush through her semi dry hair for a few moments. The door clicked open and a very familiar face appeared in the mirror in front of Jamie. She clicked off the hair dryer instantly as her mouth dropped open in surprise. She shot up out of her seat and headed over to her former tag team partner, and one of her best friends in this business, Lacey Adkisson, better known as Lacey Von Erich. Jamie ran over and hugged her tightly as Lacey laughed out loud and hugged her back.

Jamie laughed softly and shrugged her shoulders. She sat back down in the chair as she went back to brushing out her hair. Lacey sat down in the chair beside her as they continued to talk to one another.

Jamie sets down the brush on the counter before her and picks up her eyeliner and outlines it around her eyes. Jamie carefully applies her make up as Lacey is digging out her own makeup in preparation for the show tonight.

Jamie finished up the final touches to her makeup for the evening and gave Lacey one last quick hug before she walked out of the room. Jamie continued off down the hallway in search of Todd Grisham to get a quick interview over with. It didn't take much time to find Todd and his crew, they had already been geared to go. Todd turned to the camera as he began to speak into the microphone.

Well Todd, I really thought it was a great match. Torrie sure did give me a good run for my money. I was shocked that I picked up the victory, it was definitely a close one. I got to participate in a match I could only dream of in the past. To step into the ring with some of my idols from when I was growing up, I look forward to getting to do more of that as I progress here in NWA.

It's nice to have some small normality for me around here, and she and I have always been really close since our TNA days. Tonight is going to be no different. I am so happy that I get to be a part of her big debut and it's going to be so much fun. Well, obviously I have never faced them before, so there isn't much I can comment on about that just yet. Now, outside of the ring I've gotten a chance to talk with both of them and they seem wonderful. It's refreshing, seeing as every time I walk in the Women's locker room I receive icy, cold glares each time from the other divas. I'm not sure what the hell their problem is, but they can all get the hell over it. I'm not going anywhere, and not one single one of you are going to intimidate me enough to make me pack my bags and high tail it out of here. I will always be a knockout at heart, which means I don't ever run from a fight. This is my job, and I bust my ass just as much as everybody else around here does. Don't mistake my kindness for weakness. I will do what needs to be done, to get where I need to be. I'm in the prime of my life baby, and I'm ready for whatever is thrown my way. I know there are several other women before me who deserve a title shot, but rest assured, I will be in that running sooner than you may know. Tonight, I have my hands full with Nic and Amber, and believe me, I know I have my work cut out for me. Before I was granted my debut match, I waited for a few weeks with not much to do but study up on any potential opponents. Amber and Nic were among the few women I kept my eye on, I knew it would only be a matter of time before we would cross paths.

Well, I have been told this was to be expected as per Nicoli's request. I can understand where she is coming from, and where Jimmy is coming from. It's totally cool, but I did warn him personally about not getting involved in this match. I understand he wants his wife to win, I'd be naive to think otherwise. However, I want this match to be fair and square. Not for my sake, but for everyone's. The fans, and to each of us women who are stepping in that ring tonight. This is Lacey's big night to make her impact around here and I would love to help be a part of that for her. I understand this can go either way rather easily, and I'm fine with that. I will give my all, of course, but even if the odds just aren't in my favor, I will still respect my opponents. So to Jimmy, just let your wife and her friend do this one on their own, and we'll be fine.

Certainly, Todd. As I said before, I'm really excited to work with Lacey again. She is such a great friend to me, always has been, and I just absolutely love her to bits and pieces. Amber and Nicoli will definitely have a challenge in front of them tonight. I have done some researching on these ladies and I know neither one of them should be under estimated at any point in time. They have done some impressive things since landing contracts here in NWA, there is no doubt about that. However, to under estimate me or Lacey, would not be very wise of our opponents. All respect aside, we are all going to do whatever needs to be done to win this evening. This is how I know this is going to be a great match for all the fans watching. We can help bring some attention back to Women's wrestling, and not in the degrading manner of bra or panties matches. This will come down to pure talent, and which team just happens to be one step ahead of the other. Like I said early, and I'll gladly say it again, this is a match between two sets of women who are used to being a team with one another. It's definitely going to be a good watch for all the fans to see how everything unfolds and who is able to pull off the victory in the end. Regardless of the outcome, I really do wish Amber and Nicoli all the best, I really do mean that. We're gonna steal the show tonight ladies and do what we do best. I can't wait and I'll be seeing you all really soon.

Jamie nodded her head once more as the cut off the cameras. She thanked everyone before she turned and wondered back towards the locker room to finish her last minute preparations for her match. Hopefully Smackdown would prove to be a success for her, however, she knew actions always spoke louder than words ever did and only tonight would tell what was going to happen.
