Jamie slouched back against the seat of the stuffy taxi cab. She scrunched her face in disgust at the musty smell of sweat and old cigarette smoke. Jamie began to wonder if they ever actually cleaned these old, dirty cabs. She knew the answer was more than likely a simple no. She sighed to herself as she brought her fingers up to the bridge of her nose, and gently squeezed it to try and help relieve her headache, but to no avail. Jamie shook her head and adjusted the white rimmed sunglasses that rested against her face. She had one hell of a hang over from the night before. Jamie had a rough couple of weeks in her personal life and she had decided to just go out and have fun and be carefree for once. Nothing too exciting had happened, only that she got drunker than she could remember being in a long time. Now she was unfortunately paying the price for it.

She closed her eyes for a few moments as the cabby continued to drive in the direction of the Fresno Convention Center for Aggression. Most people would praise the clear blue skies and bright sun in Fresno, California, but she didn't. Not today, it only added to her mind numbing headache. Jamie rested her head back against the seat once more, her head felt way too heavy to keep up straight at this point. Jamie shifted against the seat of the cab as her mind began to wander over the events that had gone down between her and Paul. She knew she should just not worry with it, but for some odd reason, she couldn't help it. They hadn't talked once, except a small exchange of words via twitter, for damn near two weeks. The funny thing was, she didn't even seem to know why he was acting like he did. She had shown up with him for Wes' birthday bash in Colorado. Once the man of the hour made an appearance, Paul hardly spoke two words to her and had since ignored her completely. Maybe she should just let it go and forget all about it? Maybe he really had been just playing her like all the other girls him and Heath used to speak of taking back to their hotels. Jamie felt some tiny pain tug at her heart at the mere thought of it. Why did she even give a damn anyways? If he wanted to act like a child, she should just let him.

Jamie unbuckled her seat belt and laid over the backseat of the cab and curled into the fetal position. Jamie wrapped her arms around her knees and shut her eyes once more. Normally, she would never think to take a nap in a unsanitary cab, but today she was beyond the point of caring. Jamie managed to doze off for the majority of the ride. She awoke to the cabby talking to her as he let her know she had arrived. Jamie sat up on the seat and ran a few fingers through her hair. She stretched her arms out and yawned before she ran her fingers under her sunglasses and across her eyes to rub away the sleep in her eyes. Jamie leaned forward and paid the cabby her fare before she opened the door of the cab and stepped out. Jamie leaned in and grabbed her suitcase off the floor of the cab. She tugged at the handle a few times, having a bit of trouble getting the bag out at first. Jamie gave one final tug and the heavy suitcase flew out at her which had caused her to lose her balance and fall down on the pavement, the suitcase landed on top of her. Jamie groaned in frustration and shoved the bag off of her and she stood back up. She dusted herself off and shut the cab door before she yanked her suitcase back up off the ground in agitation.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
What a wonderful day this has shaped up to be so far.

Jamie muttered to herself as she pulled the suitcase behind her as she walked to the arena doors. A security guard stood near and pulled open the door for her.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Thank you.

She nodded to the man just as she stepped inside of the arena. The sudden temperature change from outside to inside caused Jamie to shiver. Her head continued to throb, although not as bad as it had been before she arrived. Jamie continued to the Women's locker room and placed her suitcase near her assigned locker as she slid off her sunglasses and set them down on the bench. Jamie sat down on the wooden bench of the locker room and pressed her head against the cold steel of the lockers in front of her. She sighed once more as she began to wish she had never gone out and partied the night before. The Women's locker room door swung open and Layla stepped in. Jamie didn't even move to see who it was as Layla walked up beside her.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
What's wrong with you?

Jamie's eyes opened and she lifted her head to look at Layla.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
Wow Jamie, you look like hell.

Jamie forced a half smile and shrugged her shoulders halfheartedly.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Dealing with the hang over from hell. Thanks for sugar coating that for me.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
I'm sorry girl, just being honest.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I took it upon myself to go out instead of sitting around my hotel room waiting for something decent to come on TV. So I went out and obviously drank a little too much.

Layla noticed the different tone and over all demeanor of Jamie. Layla lifted her brow in question.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
You sure something else isn't up? You can talk to me.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Just a lot of things all at once. I just... don't really want to talk about it right now. I have got to keep my mind on my match tonight against April Hunter. I know she is not someone to take lightly, I have worked with her in the past. I can't let my personal stuff cloud my mind tonight.. I just can't..

Jamie's eyes dropped to the floor as she looked a bit conflicted to talk about what was going on or not. Jamie bit the corner of her lip and slightly shook her head. She dropped her head into her hands and slid her fingers through her hair.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
Jamie...

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Lay.. it's really not a good time, okay?

Layla's face grew concerned as she watched Jamie who was acting completely opposite of her normal self. Normally she was happy and a bit feisty in her own way. Today she seemed down in the dumps, almost a slight look of defeat stayed in her usually bright, hopeful eyes. Jamie lifted her head and reached out to open her locker. She tossed her purse inside of it and looked at her reflection in the small mirror that rested on the inside of the small locker door. Jamie tried to fix her smeared make up. She had hardly gotten ready this morning, her hair was still a bit of a mess and her make up wasn't neat to say the least. Jamie grabbed a brush and ran it through her hair.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I want to talk to you, you know that. I just can't right now... I'm not even completely sure what's going on with myself. How can I explain that to someone else when I don't even know myself?

Jamie stopped and looked over at Layla inquisitively. Layla pursed her lips and slightly shook her head as she placed her hands on her hips.

«°¤° "The English Bombshell" || Layla El °¤°»
Well... I'm not too entirely sure. But you know that if you need to talk to someone, I am always willing to lend an ear.

Jamie smiled over at Layla. Layla had been such a wonderful friend to her since the moment she had stepped foot into EBWF. What would Jamie do without her? She honestly didn't want to think about it, the two of them had grown quite fond of one another. Layla had even stayed at her house when she was going through a rough time. Jamie had been sad when Layla moved back down to Florida, but she knew that Layla needed to do what was best for her. Jamie had loved having a roommate of her own, especially someone like Layla whom she usually traveled with. Layla stepped forward and gave Jamie a hug. Jamie wrapped her arm around Layla and a small smile formed in the corners of her mouth.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Thanks Lay... you've been so wonderful to me. I wish I could tell you everything but I'm still sorting it out up here, myself.

Jamie tapped her temple with her fingers to signal she was referring to her head. Jamie looked back over at small mirror and she scrunched her face as she really noticed just how awful she looked. Jamie shut the locker and stood up to face Layla.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I just need to get take a shower and get in the mind frame for my match tonight. We'll talk later, Lay. I promise.

Layla nodded her head as Jamie unzipped her suitcase and dug around for her ring gear. She stood up and headed into the shower area of the Women's locker room. Jamie turned on the shower as water poured down in front of her. She stuck her hand out to feel the temperature of the water. When she was satisfied, she undressed and stepped into the shower as she let the hot water run over her head. She closed her eyes for a few moments as she tried to clear her mind of everything but her match tonight against April Hunter.

---------------------------------------------

Jamie took her time in the shower as it gave her plenty of time to think to herself without being disturbed. Jamie had changed into her ring gear for the night. She was seated in front of a mirror as she finished styling her hair for her match tonight. She leaned forward and ran some eyeliner under her eyes and finished the last effects of her makeup. She didn't feel up to doing her hair or makeup this evening but she knew Dick Ebersol would be on her ass about it if she didn't. That man truly did live up to his name. Jamie tossed down the eyeliner on the make up counter and looked back at herself in the mirror.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I guess now it's time...

She inhaled deeply then exhaled, as though it was going to shake her odd mood away. Every second she tried to think of her opponent, she found him creeping into her thoughts. Every damn time. Jamie stood up and finished adjusting her ring gear to fit perfectly on her so it snugged her curves just right. Jamie tried to fake a happy and confident smile, but it only proved to be a wasted effort on her part as it was quite obvious how fake it was. Jamie pursed her lips together and turned on her heel as she headed out of the locker room and down the corridors of the Fresno Convention Center. Jamie didn't pay mind to one single person she passed in the hallway as her eyes remained forward, never straying in any direction but straight ahead. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she hardly noticed as Jonathan Coachman approached her. Jamie jumped in surprise when she noticed him, he had managed to catch her off guard. Jamie's hand flew over her heart as her eyes widened.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Jesus. I'm sorry, I didn't see you there.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
No need to refer to me as Jesus, Jamie. Coach works fine for me.

Coach gave her a playful smile as he was kidding with her. Jamie dropped her hand to her side as she glanced around the hallway for a moment. She honestly couldn't tell if she had even passed anyone in the hall before this encounter with Coach, she had been so lost in her own thoughts, as she had been all week long. Jamie managed to throw a small grin at Coach.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
You crack me up. How's Amy and the little one?

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Ah, their great. Thanks for asking. How've you been?

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Oh, I'm okay. Same stuff different day I suppose.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
You mind giving an interview for your match tonight?

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Yeah, sounds great. Let's do it.

Coach nods and signaled over his crew. Jamie teased her hair a few times while they were setting up. Coach counted down with three fingers before he signaled for the camera man to roll the cameras.

(On Camera)

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Good evening EBWF Universe, at this time please welcome my guest, Velvet Sky!

Velvet waved her fingers at the camera and faked a smile to the best of her ability. Truth be told, this was the last thing she wanted, but it was expected of her. So she tried her best to play the part and not let her personal life get in the way.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Velvet, we haven't seen you in a match in.. well, weeks. You're last match was against the late, great, Eddie Guerrero's daughter, Shaul. You were able to pick up the win in a well fought match between the two of you.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Absolutely. I respect Shaul, she comes from a great background and who can beat the Guerrero name?

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Well, you did, obviously.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
You know what I mean, Coach.

Velvet laughed slightly before she continued.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
But in all seriousness, Coach. Shaul gave me one hell of a match, she's definitely tougher than most would think. It was an honor to step in the ring with a Guerrero and I'd love to again sometime in the future.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
We noticed you were booked against non other than a former tag team partner of yours, April Hunter.

Velvet placed her hands on her hips and nodded her head.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Yes, April Hunter. She and I definitely do have some history together in this business. Some people may not now, but April and I used to work together back in 2006 when we were in WEW together. April and and I formed T&A and went after the tag belts together. The champs at the time were Blondage whom we defeated almost immediately after we teamed together. She and I definitely had chemistry together as partners. I had some good times with her back then. The difference, Coach, is that was back then. This... is now. You see, this isn't WEW anymore. We aren't T&A anymore. We are here in EBWF, the grandest stage of them all. I have busted my ass to get this far and I'm not going to let any former partnership get in the way of winning out there in the ring. I know I don't have the most perfect wrestling record out there, but I have worked damn hard and given my all in each and every match. April, tonight will be no different. I'm ready for tonight and I can't wait to see if you still have what it takes. I've come a long way myself since we worked together last. I'll just say it wouldn't be very wise on her end to underestimate me. I've had a pretty aggravating week so I'm ready to get that all out in the ring, you have no idea.

Velvet shifted her weight. She knew she strayed off her promo a little as she hinted about her past week, though she didn't go into any specifics. She found it difficult to hide her true thoughts in this interview but she tried her best. She could only hope the same went for her match tonight.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Fair enough, it should be an interesting match to say the least.

Coach placed his finger to his ear as he tried to listen over an ear piece. He nodded and looked to Velvet.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Well, it sounds like your match is actually coming up here shortly. We shall let you go prepare for your match and we wish you the best of luck.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Thanks Coach, I appreciate it. I'll be seeing you shortly, April.

Velvet turned towards the camera and winked before she waved goodbye and walked off screen.

(Off Camera)

Jamie turned back and shook Jonathan's hand.

«°¤° | 'The One and Only' Jonathan Coachman | °¤°»
Thank you, Jamie. Good luck.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Thanks, really. Tell Amy I said hello. Take care, Coach.

Jamie smiled to herself before she actually walked off down the hallway. Her match was coming up soon, but as far as she knew, match one was still in progress. She rounded a corner when she ran right into a man's chest. Jamie shook her head and snapped her thoughts back to reality. She glanced up to see Paul's face and her expression dropped the instant she realized it was him. She had tried so hard to get him off her mind all day, all week... and now she had to run into him here and now? Right before her match?

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Oh uh... sorry..

Jamie looked up through her eyelashes as he peered down at her, his face was expressionless, his eyes seemed a bit more cold and removed towards her than normal. He didn't even flinch a muscle when she apologized. Paul continued to say nothing, instead he just kept his eyes on her. Deep down some part of him had really missed her being around him, but he wasn't going to just let this go. Jamie bit her lip for a moment, as she tried to decide if she should bring up their little argument or not. She decided to avoid if for now and take the nice approach.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Okay. Well, congratulations on winning number one contender for the IC belt. Never got a chance to tell you..

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Thanks...

Paul spoke quietly as he folded his arms over his chest. He knew that they haven't talked about anything that happened at Wes' party, he didn't know if he should bring it up or just wait for her to do it. Things were already getting so difficult between the two of them and they weren't even officially together yet. They stared awkwardly at each other for another few moments in silence, both not quite sure what to say at this point.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Um...

Jamie peered up at Paul as she hoped he was starting to engage her in some sort of conversation. Neither one of them had tried to talk to the other since their argument that Saturday night in Denver, Colorado. Paul looked down at Jamie as he ran his hand through his hair. Jamie sighed and shifted her weight as she looked up at him.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
So.. are we going to just ignore each other and not talk about what the hell happened? I mean seriously, Paul... I don't even get why you are upset with me!

Jamie flings her arm out to emphasize her next point.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
You barely spoke two words to me on Saturday at Wes Ikeda's Birthday party after Wes stopped by. Beforehand, you were chatting my freaking ear off. Now, we haven't talked for almost two weeks, and you're talking down to me on twitter. What the hell is your problem, Paul?!

Jamie's voice raised slightly towards the end of her sentence as her anger got the best of her. She placed her hand on her hip and returned her gaze to his as if it was to prove that she wanted answers out of him. Paul took a step back before he shook his head in complete disbelief. He couldn't believe that she couldn't remember what she did. How stupid was she going to play?

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Seriously, Jamie? Let me just say... you pull off the dumb blonde very well.

Jamie's face turned red as she heard Paul's last comment to her, her mouth dropped open for a few seconds. She couldn't understand what was wrong with him or why he was making such a huge deal over something so minor. He was making mountains out of mole hills and it pissed her off to no end. Whatever he thinks she did, it couldn't be anything compared to how cold Paul was being to her.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I play off the dumb blonde well? You're an asshole!

Jamie started to turn away from him. Paul leaned over towards her as he spoke once more which stopped her in place.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Besides, I stopped talking at the party because I didn't want to take up all your precious time. I mean... I didn't want to hold you up for whenever Wes came back for that dance you so graciously offered him. You didn't seem to have a problem kissing him right in front of me either!

Paul continued to shake his head as he remembered back to what happened at the party that night. Paul knew this shouldn't bother him so much but it really did get under his skin. Not to mention Ikeda's clever little comment to him about the girl Paul had shown up with. He didn't know whether is was a joke or not but Paul didn't find any humor in it.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Seriously, right in front of me, Jamie? You practically threw yourself all over him.

Jamie contorts her facial expression for a moment in disbelief and shook her head before she held up her index finger at him in a hasty manor.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
EXCUSE ME?!?

Paul just shrugged his shoulders. Jamie began to stare daggers at Paul at this point, she clenched her fists at her side. She couldn't believe how childish he was being! She could feel her temper boil deep within herself. Maybe just one punch... just a nice shiner to walk around with for everyone to see. She knew deep down that she'd never punch him, but she did love the thought of it right about now.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Are you freaking kidding me right now?! Because I kissed him on the cheek ONE freakin' time?! I was being social and offering a dance because it was, um, I don't know.. HIS BIRTHDAY!

Jamie groaned out in frustration, she couldn't believe he was being so childish when they weren't even together! She ran her fingers through her hair and shook her head at him.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I'm sorry for trying to be nice to the man who signs my paychecks! It was an innocent kiss, I can't believe your blowing this way out of proportion. It's not like he ever came back for the dance, so what does it even matter anyways?!

Paul said nothing for a few moments. Jamie shook her head, unable to wrap her head around this whole ordeal. Was he really being serious? Jamie rolled her eyes and dropped her view down to her wrestling boots for a few moments. She didn't have time for this, not now.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Whatever... it doesn't matter anymore. I gotta go.

Paul turned as Jamie walked past him. He spoke again as she started to walk away.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
And what if he had come back? Then what would you have done? Besides Jamie, did you see the looks that he was giving you? Not to mention the looks he was giving me. He knew he was getting under my skin.

Jamie stopped dead in her tracks as Paul continued to talk. Paul still seemed obviously frustrated about this whole situation just as much as Jamie was. He tried to keep his calm as he spoke out again but this had eaten at him all week long.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Look at who he left with at the party. Just think, if he would have came back, he could have taken you back to his hotel instead. What would you have done then? Continue to play nice with the man that signs your checks?

Did he really just throw her words back in her face? Paul's face grew a smug look as Jamie turned back around to face Paul. As she turned she brought up her hand and slapped Paul across the face with force. How could he even say that to her?

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Fuck you!

Jamie glared back up at him. She tried to hold back the anger that was rising within her but he was making it damn near impossible for her. Paul reached up and grabbed the side of his face, it actually stung more than he thought it would. Jamie looked at him in complete disgust at this point.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
You act like I don't have a mind of my own! Like I can't make my own decisions. I'm not just some bimbo who will end up with just anyone. My character on screen may come off a bit different, but you know more than anything that shit is for the cameras. This is such bullshit, you standing there and making me feel like shit for being nice to the guy. It was his fucking birthday, you asshole! From what I heard, he's been going through a lot. So, I'm fucking sorry for showing a tiny bit of compassion for the man. And to answer your question, no, I don't know who he ended up with nor do I give a damn! I thought I made myself pretty clear who I liked, but obviously not. In fact, if you just see me as some idiot who can't do anything for herself, then we might as well forget everything right now and move on.

Jamie huffed, her nerves were rattled by now. She adverted her eyes back down to the floor as she tried to calm herself down. She had a match soon and this was not the right moment to hash things out.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
You are honestly looking way too into this whole ordeal. I was there with YOU. I arrived there, with YOU! I practically hung all over YOU! Do I have to fucking spell it out for you, too?

Paul shook his head, he could feel his own anger boil up inside of him. Before he could think, Paul took a step forward as he began to speak again, and got in her face. His voice had risen a few notches from before.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
YET YOU KISSED HIM!!

Jamie flinched when he yelled at her. Paul looked as he wanted to say more, but he thought for a second before he took a step back. Paul just stood there as he waited for the words to come out of him freely.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
What am I suppose to think whenever you kiss another guy before you have even kissed me, Jamie?!

Jamie felt her heart drop as he said this to her. She hadn't even thought of it that way. She bit her lip as he continued.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Seriously, I don't know what this all is between us... but we haven't even kissed once! Every time I go for one, you pull away or someone pops out of no where. Then, you kiss another guy right in front of me. A guy who couldn't care less if you like someone else, or the fact that you showed up to his party with me. That wouldn't stop him and there is no doubt in my mind about that.

Jamie's hands shook as she grew angrier by the second. She looked at him in disbelief for a few moments, she was absolutely speechless. She huffed and began to speak to him, her voice still carried an angry tone.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I kissed him on the cheek. ONCE. It was nothing! A simple, happy birthday kiss on the cheek. It was nothing more and it never will be. Wes is busy with his own life as I am mine, and I don't even know the guy. That was the first time I've ever met him in person. I didn't think this was going to be such a big deal!

She ran a hand through her hair and inhaled a deep breath before she exhaled slowly as she tried to calm herself down. She sighed out loud and slumped her shoulders forward in defeat, this time she spoke much more quietly.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
... It's not like I haven't tried to kiss you, Paul... Multiple times. You don't think I feel the same way? I practically make an ass of myself in front of you because I don't know what your take on everything is. You're practically impossible to read! What the hell was I supposed to do?

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
You know you could always just ask anything that you want to know. I have nothing to hide about anything. If you're trying to read something about me, just ask...

Paul closed his eyes as he shook his head again. He didn't know what was going on, and he most certainly had no idea what to do. Paul threw his hands up in the air as he continued to speak to her.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
What do you want me to say Jamie? What do you want me to do to make everything all clear for you? Do you want me to say that I'm into you? Fine!! I like you, okay? Yeah, right now I'm frustrated to hell and back, but for some reason I still like you. Is that what you want to hear? Or would you rather me say that I haven't been able to get you out of my mind for weeks?! Any moment I actually get to think, you manage to pop into my head every time. Seriously, what is it that you want me to say??

Jamie's eyes widen as Paul admitted this to her all at once. She felt her heart skip a beat, and she was completely thrown off by what he had just said to her. She took a few moments before she looked up into his eyes for the first time in awhile.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
Yes! That is exactly what I want you to say. I practically throw myself at you and you brush it off, or just do the gentlemanly thing. So yes, it throws me off and I don't know what the hell you want from me. You could have told me SOMETHING. Instead I've been texting you all last week, only to get no response from you. Did you ever stop to think that I think about you just as much? Maybe, that I get so angry because I can't think about anything else? Or why this whole ordeal has eaten me up so badly when we aren't even together..?

Jamie took a small step towards him, her eyes locked on his.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I'm a complete idiot around you. I always do or say something stupid because you make me nervous. I've been single ever since Josh and I split awhile back. Guys don't just have this sort of effect on me... It freaks me out, and I don't want to freak you out either. I don't want to ruin anything between us, Paul. I haven't been able to get you off my mind for so long. I don't even know where we stand anymore...

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Well, I thought we were standing pretty good, at least, up until two weeks ago at that party. I mean sure, I might have taken it out of context, but you didn't hear what Wes said to me. It got under my skin, so yeah, I guess I kind of blew up about it.

Paul looks at Jamie as he took the next step between the two.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Seriously though, what would you have done or thought if the shoes were reversed? Say it was, I dunno.. Nicole Ikeda's birthday and I gave her a kiss on the cheek and offered a dance? You know damn well you would have done the same thing I did. Tell me I'm wrong.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
I'm pretty sure Randy would come kick your ass.

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
Jamie... I'm being serious.

«°¤° "Velvet Sky" || Jamie Szantyr °¤°»
So am I. However, If it was just a kiss on the cheek..? No. It means nothing, it's completely innocent. I shouldn't have offered a dance, I was only trying to be social. I.. didn't mean to upset you. My attention isn't on him... it's on you. I thought you knew that by now.

Jamie paused for a moment and sighed once more. She shifted her weight once more and crossed her arms across her chest.

Wait.. and what did he say to you?

«°¤° | "Justin Gabriel" || Paul Lloyd Jr. | °¤°»
He was just being the dick he usually is. He said something about me not being able to seal the deal with you, then he would. Like I said, it just hit the wrong cord with me..

Jamie's eyes widen once more and she said nothing for a few more moments. She didn't know Wes very well but she had to doubt he was being serious about his little comment to Paul.

I'm sure he was only lighting a fire under your ass.

I don't think it was just that.

She stepped forward once more and looked into his eyes.

Paul, I'm sorry.. I... I honestly had no idea. I'm sure he was joking. It wouldn't matter either way, Paul. I am into you, not anyone else.. that should be blatantly clear by now.

Jamie slowly stepped forward and reached up to cup the sides of his face with her hands. Paul's eyes met with hers as Jamie lightly runs her fingers in his beard along his jawline. Paul stepped forward once more which brought them against each other. Jamie tilted her head as they both leaned in for a kiss. Someone cleared their throat and caused both Jamie and Paul to jump, their attention turned to the stage hand who had interrupted them.

Jamie. They are calling for you in the staging area. You're match is up next so you better get going now, you don't have much time to spare. I've been looking for you all over.

Jamie's facial expression dropped, it seemed that someone would always be around to interupt them no matter where they went. Jamie sighed and nodded her head as she knew she had to go. She wanted to give Paul a hug at least but the stage hand was practically pushing her to get moving. Jamie looked back at Paul with an apologetic look before she had to turn back around and head to the curtain area for her match. Jamie smiled slightly to herself, even though they had been interupted, she felt so much better they at least got to talk. Now all she had to do was keep her focus on her match. Jamie stretched her head side to side quickly as her music cued over the PA system and she stepped out from behind the curtains backstage into the jam packed arena for Aggression.
